It's way past due, but we're back in Albuquerque now and I realized that (along with just about everything else) I haven't posted any pictures of Noah's birthday. I've got to make one quick shout-out to my sister-in-law, Stephanie, who at the very last minute made Noah what will most likely be the coolest cake he will probably ever have. Seriously people, I'm not sure what's cuter: the cake that looks so freakin' real that Noah actually cried when we "broke his truck", or this kid of mine that is so dang adorable! You decide:
The wheels were rice crispies covered in fondant. Noah was okay with eating those, but freaked out so bad when we cut into the actual cake that I couldn't even get any photos. He is still talking about that cake today. Life could not possibly be any more clear than when looking at it through the eyes of a 3 year old. Happy Birthday Noah!!!

I loved hearing all about the infamous cake from Mom and Dad. That kid cracks me up. He is seriously the cutest little three year old boy EVER. So glad to see a post from you, been missing them. Stephanie is a cake-making rock star! Really, truly and seriously a rock star! I am blown away by every cake pic she sends, that truck cake will probably be one of those first memories that he stores for the rest of his life. So fun!
The cake indeed looked totally 'trucked' out. I can't get over how all these (ivey) kids came out blonde! Noah is going to be heartbreaker for sure.
That is the coolest cake. Jonathan saw it and said that he wants one too! Happy Birthday Mr. Noah! They grow up way too fast. Sooo shouldn't you guys be celebrating another Birthday real soon???
Great Job on the cake, it looks awesome! This reminds me of the cakes my mom would make me that would have a Barbie in the center and the cake would be the dress. Those are the funnest moments. When these presious spirits are so full of life. This will be a great memory for all of you! Happy Birthday Noah!
